HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT

SCENE : THE LOWER LEVELS OF THE BUILDING

They call it the darkest City of Hong Kong, the buildings are too dense and cause the sunlight can't reach to the lower levels of the buildings. My feeling for the lower levels are scary and hell of the city. During the virtual trip in The Walled City of Kowloon, that's not light everywhere, and some walkway have light and some walkway doesn't. I can feel danger in the dark street, and that's no police security inside, no one will know what will happen. Not only that, the lower levels were constantly hot, humid, and damp. I feel so unhealthy living in the lower levels because the bacteria and virus can easy be spread everywhere.

REFLECTION

After reading and watching the virtual trip in The Walled City of Kowloon, that's much things about the knowledge of built environment and abiding law to ensure healthy, safe and positive life quality. Firstly, the most surprising thing is the structure of the building in the Walled City of Kowloon is the high-rise buildings that without the help of architectures or building codes. This cause that the sunlight couldn't reach to the lower levels of the building. The sunlight is important for all of us because it can kill bacteria and improves human health. Plus, the sunlight can prevent the virus and bacteria to spread fast, this shows that the knowledge of sunlight is important for us. Secondly, crime in the city was very serious and police only venture inside in large groups. This show that the security was terrible and the police officers doesn't care about the crime in the city. The crime control is justice and fair for residents. It also will cause the country become corruption and the lives of residents were threatened. Most of the residents supported the police to control the criminal and the duties of the polices are important to the residents because only they can keep the city safe. Lastly, the life quality in the city was bad. Due to lack of the garbage collection, some residents carried their bulky junk items to the roof and street. It will cause public health issue and pests breed. The knowledge of cleaning up the garbage is important for residents in the city. I learned that knowledge can solve many problem and prevent bad things happen.
